Padel is new to Azerbaijan, but international events have helped it grow quickly. The International Padel Federation's World Padel Report 2025 counts 3 courts at 3 clubs. The sport is run by the Azerbaijan Tennis Federation, which joined the International Padel Federation in 2024 and supports both tennis and padel.
In May 2024 Baku held its first international tournament, the Sea Breeze Padel Cup, with more than 50 players from Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Turkey, Georgia and Saudi Arabia (Azernews). Two CUPRA FIP Tour events followed in 2026. FIP Bronze Baku was played in April at Baku Tennis Academy, with Casa Padel as the support club. FIP Bronze Baku II was played in July on the outdoor courts at Sea Breeze Resort (FIP).
The resort on the Absheron coast has been expanding quickly: in May 2026 its developer reported that three new courts had brought the total to ten.
In the city itself, Padel 77 on Babək prospekti has three panoramic courts and takes bookings on its own website. Other venues are opening around Baku. We list only those whose details we could confirm, and will add more as their information is published.
