Czechia is at an early but fast-moving stage of its padel boom. The Česká padelová federace was founded in 2015, and the first court was built in 2017. By August 2025 there were about 80 (Forbes). At its 2026 season press conference, the federation reported about 1,200 members and expected the number of courts to approach 200 by the end of 2026 (ČPF).

The federation runs a full domestic structure: the Extraliga and 1. liga team competitions, the ČPT 100/200 tournament tour, and rankings for men, women, juniors, mixed, 40+ and 50+. It is a member of both the International Padel Federation and Padel Europe.

Top-level padel has only just arrived. In August 2025 Prague hosted an exhibition with four players from the world top 50, the first time the world's best had played there. The federation's stated goal is to bring FIP and Premier Padel events to Czechia.
