Padel in Moldova has grown from almost nothing in a few years. In November 2020, TV8 reported that the sport had arrived about three years earlier and that the country had a single court, in Tiraspol. The Padel Federation of the Republic of Moldova had just been founded. The International Padel Federation's World Padel Report 2025 counts 8 courts at 5 clubs. The federation joined the International Padel Federation in 2025.
In July 2023 Chișinău City Hall opened two municipal outdoor courts in Parcul La Izvor, at a cost of more than 1.2 million lei (Primăria Chișinău). The same weekend they hosted the national championship, with 65 players aged 10 to 60.
Since then, private clubs have opened across the capital. The largest is Padel Point Chișinău, with 9 covered courts in the STRAAL complex on Bulevardul Dacia. Lemon Tree Padel, opened in December 2025, has an indoor panoramic court and is open around the clock. Outside Chișinău, there are courts in Costești in Ialoveni district and in Comrat, Gagauzia.
Many Moldovan clubs take bookings through local platforms such as Courtica and Padel Rankup rather than Playtomic.
