Padel in Georgia is only a few years old, but it has grown quickly. The first court opened in Mtatsminda Park, above central Tbilisi, in May 2022 with help from the European Padel Federation (padel.ge). By mid-2025, the International Padel Federation's World Padel Report 2025 counted 31 courts at 10 clubs.
The sport is run by the Georgian National Padel Federation (GNPF), which issues player licences, keeps a national ranking and runs an open tournament series across its member clubs. The first round of the 2025 series drew 66 men's and 20 women's teams (GNPF). Georgia's national team also started preparing for its first FIP Euro Padel Cup, played in Madrid in July 2025. The dates differ between sources: FIP lists the federation's affiliation as 2022, while the federation reports being admitted at FIP's General Assembly in March 2024.
Most courts are in Tbilisi, with clubs in Saburtalo, Dighomi, Gldani, at Lisi Lake, at Turtle Lake and at Expo Georgia. Beyond the capital, Love Padel in Kutaisi calls itself the first indoor padel club in western Georgia. Padel Island also runs hotel courts at the Gudauri ski resort and in Kachreti in the Kakheti wine region.
