Belgium is one of Europe's most established padel countries. The first Belgian padel federation was founded in 1992, and today's national body, Padel Belgium, was set up in 2020 and is affiliated with the International Padel Federation (KBTB). The FIP's World Padel Report 2025 counts 2,150 courts at 561 clubs. Federation figures for 2024 show more than 100,000 licensed players, roughly a third of them women.
Players join through one of two regional federations that cover both tennis and padel: Tennis en Padel Vlaanderen in Flanders and TPPWB in Wallonia and Brussels. Joining a club gets you a licence, insurance and access to official competitions. The ranking runs from P50 or P100 for beginners up to P1000, and it is recalculated every July and December.
Belgium is also a fixture on the professional tour. Brussels hosts a Premier Padel P2 every April, most recently from 19 to 26 April 2026 (Premier Padel).
