Greece is one of the newer padel countries in Europe, but it is growing quickly. The International Padel Federation's World Padel Report 2025 counts 301 courts across 99 clubs. Padel is governed by the Hellenic Tennis Federation (ΕΦΟΑ), which joined the International Padel Federation in May 2024.
ΕΦΟΑ has been building the structures of an official sport. Under its 2025 competition rules, players in official tournaments need a federation Athletic ID card and a valid health card, and draws are based on a national ranking. In July 2025 the federation published a seven-step guide to setting up recognised padel clubs. Its first padel coaching school opened in Marousi in July 2026 (ΕΦΟΑ).
International padel has arrived too. Crete hosted FIP Silver and Bronze events at Lyttos Sports Center in 2025, and Greece's men's and women's national teams entered the FIP World Cup 2026 European qualifiers in Madrid.
