Padel in Cyprus has gone from a handful of courts to a national sport in a few years. The island's first courts were at Aphrodite Hills near Paphos. Nicosia's first club, Spazio, opened in 2021, and by June 2024 there were 17 clubs across the island (Cyprus Mail). By September 2025 the Cyprus Tennis Federation counted more than 50 clubs and 200 courts, in line with the 200 courts in the International Padel Federation's World Padel Report 2025.
Padel is run by the tennis federation's Padel Committee. The Cyprus Sports Organization named the federation the sole national authority for padel in early 2024, and it joined the International Padel Federation as a full member on 1 January 2025. Competitive play includes the Cyprus Padel League, first held in 2023, and FIP Bronze tournaments in Ayia Napa.
