Lithuania is one of the fastest-growing padel countries in the Baltics. The Lietuvos padelio federacija was founded in January 2014, with basketball legend Šarūnas Marčiulionis as its founder. The International Padel Federation's World Padel Report 2025 counts 206 courts at 45 clubs, nearly double the "more than 110 courts" reported in February 2024 (The Baltic Times). The federation's 2024–2028 strategy targets 250 courts by 2028.

Competitive players need a federation licence, and national championships are graded by level. The federation runs licences, tournaments and rankings on its own platform, play.padel.lt.

Lithuania has also started hosting international events. Kaunas staged FIP Bronze Litas Kaunas at Tennis Space in March 2026, and Vilnius will host FIP Promises at Mostai Padel Club in December 2026.

Yes, for national championships. For example, the 2025 Spring Lithuanian Padel Championship was open only to A, B+ and B level players holding a valid 2025 federation licence.

Are there international padel tournaments in Lithuania?

Yes. Kaunas hosted FIP Bronze Litas Kaunas at Tennis Space in March 2026, and FIP Promises Vilnius is scheduled for 3–6 December 2026 at Mostai Padel Club.
