Italy has become one of padel's biggest markets in a short time. The International Padel Federation's World Padel Report 2025 counts 3,795 clubs and 10,220 courts in the country, which puts Italy second in the world for clubs. The national federation reflects that growth in its name. In October 2022 the Italian tennis federation voted to become the Federazione Italiana Tennis e Padel (FITP), at a time when padel already had more than 800,000 players (FITP).
The FITP's Report Tennis e Padel 2025 counts 5.4 million padel enthusiasts and 5,321 courts at affiliated clubs. The same clubs ran 1,525 competitive tournaments that year.
Rome is the natural starting point. It hosts the Italy Major on the 2026 Premier Padel tour, and Milan follows with a P1 event in October. Our Rome listings cover clubs across the city. Some take bookings through Playtomic, others through their own booking page. Court numbers appear only where a club publishes them, and at some clubs a few courts are covered only in winter.
