Padel in Switzerland grew slowly until 2021 and has boomed since. In August 2025, Swiss Tennis's head of padel put the country at more than 400 courts and 150 padel clubs (SRF), in line with the 416 courts counted by the International Padel Federation's World Padel Report 2025.
The sport has two organising bodies. Swiss Padel is Switzerland's member of the International Padel Federation. Swiss Tennis Padel is run by Swiss Tennis, which belongs to Swiss Olympic. In November 2025 Swiss Olympic rejected Swiss Padel's application for membership (Swiss Tennis). Each body sells its own licence and runs its own tournaments and ranking. The Swiss Tennis Padel ranking counts a player's 10 best results from the last 12 months.
Swiss Tennis Padel ended 2025 with 1,650 active licences, 50 member clubs and 250 official tournaments. In August 2025 it opened the country's first national padel performance centre, an 8-court hall at Padelta in Biberist.
