Padel in Russia has grown mainly in the two biggest cities. The International Padel Federation's World Padel Report 2025 estimated 111 courts at 26 clubs and about 25,000 amateur players in June 2025. The Padel Federation of Russia (FPR) puts the current number of clubs well above that, at more than 200, but gives no date for its figure.
The FPR says the first courts appeared in the 2010s and that the Ministry of Sport recognised it in 2024 as the sport's governing body (FPR). It publishes a weekly national rating and runs the Russian Padel Tour. In 2026 the tour visited Moscow and Saint Petersburg, and its fifth stage was held in Nizhny Novgorod in September (FPR).
Moscow has some of the biggest indoor centres, several of them inside shopping malls, including one on the sixth floor of Afimall City. Saint Petersburg has the most clubs on our list, spread from Vyborgskoye shosse in the north to Prospekt Stachek in the south-west.
Outside the two capitals, there are clubs in Kazan and Yekaterinburg. On the Black Sea coast there are two padel venues in Sirius, next to Sochi, one of them at the Fisht Stadium complex.
